Other staff members include a full time House Manager who provides direct care and support of the clients of Alpha House. The House Manager is responsible for Case Management, meal planning, purchasing of supplies, maintenance of the house and grounds, staff and volunteer scheduling, 24-hour Crisis Helpline support, intake and client records and referrals.
Under the House Manager’s direction, a Resident Manager and relief staff members see to the daily operation of the program and the meeting of clients’ needs. A Bookkeeper maintains the program’s financial records. The Thrift Shop Manager takes charge of the receiving and display of merchandise, maintenance of the store, training and oversight of volunteers and reporting and care of revenue.
